Charleston Weather
October in Charleston is generally mild and pleasant, with average highs in the mid-70s °F and lows in the upper-50s °F. Light layers and comfortable walking shoes are recommended, along with a small umbrella or jacket for the chance of rain.
Travel Booking & Reimbursement
All participants have received the Travel Booking & Reimbursement Guide, which provides detailed instructions for booking flights, arrival and departure requirements, and the reimbursement process. The guide also includes important details such as airfare caps, REAL ID requirements, reimbursable vs. non-reimbursable travel expenses, and step-by-step instructions for setting up a Bill.com account for payment.
Airport Transfers
To make travel as smooth as possible, group shuttles have been arranged between Charleston International Airport (CHS) and the Mills House Hotel. The ride takes approximately 25–30 minutes. Transportation will be provided for both arrival and departure.
